Everyone knows who Dr. Seuss is. His timeless works delight children as they have since his first release, “And ToThink That I Saw It On Mulberry Street” in 1937. But even Theodor Seuss Geisel didn’t snatch a publisher on his first try. He was rejected 27 times before he ran into an old friend from Dartmouth college who recognized the genius in his writing. And what an imagination! His books transport us to strange worlds with characters we writers only wish we had thought of. Thank you, Dr. Seuss, for showing us that anything is possible!
